ISME Member Hugh J Ward to speak on Credit Management

ISME member Hugh J Ward who is founder of Hugh J Ward & Co Solicitors and CEO of CMOS – Credit Management Outsource Solutions, has been invited by The European Commission to speak on Credit Management in 12 European cities over the next 9 months.
Mr Ward has extensive practical experience over 30 years in all areas of credit and debt management. He has written many articles on commercial law, lectured in the Law Society on commercial litigation and debt collection procedure. He has also given many private seminars, more recently on the new Personal Insolvency Act 2012.

This invitation by the Commission confirms the expertise of Hugh J Ward and CMOS in the areas of legal services for debt recovery and the full end to end credit management function.

He also gives private seminars to debt recovery industry groupings. Hugh has lectured in the Law Society on Injunctions in debt collection procedure and he has written many Articles on commercial law and debt recovery.

Hugh has represented Ireland on behalf of the European Commission with regard to cross border credit and claims management litigation and has been asked to further deliver his speech in a number or European cities throughout 2013 and 2014.

On 26th September 2013 in Riga, the European Commission Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry hosted the cross-border entrepreneurship seminar that addressed the issues of cross-border credit and claims management within the European Union (EU). This is one of a series of national events whose purpose was to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to increase their overall business efficiency and competitiveness. The content of the seminar helped to better understand what options are available to SMEs for successfully managing cross-border credit and for recovering cross-border payments.
