Revenue Commissioners
The Revenue Commissioners will present an update on recent and proposed developments in the operation of PAYE and the Universal Social Charge. They will also provide a panel to answer a range of questions from delegates on all aspects of the operation of PAYE and the Universal Social Charge. If delegates wish to put questions to the panel, priority will be given to those who provide a written question in advance of the Conference and questions will also be taken from the floor.
Department of Social Protection
Representatives from the Department of Social Protection (DSP) will address the Conference on recent changes to PRSI to include the extension of PRSI for Modified Rate Contributors to unearned income for 2013 and to all other employees and those in receipt of occupation pensions for 2014 as introduced in the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2013 and the Social Welfare and Pensions (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2013. Delegates are encouraged to submit questions they would like addressed by the DSP which will be provided to the Department in advance of the Conference.
